Meditative Hike
Overview
Intro
Through simple physical and mindfulness exercises, this hike offers you the chance to reconnect with the earth, the cosmos, and yourself.
Taking in the green of the trees, listening to birdsong, feeling my footsteps on the mossy ground, breathing in the earthy scent of the forest....
In our everyday lives, we often have little contact with the serenity, strength, and vitality of nature. This hike is an opportunity to reconnect with the Earth and the cosmos from which we all originate and to which we belong. This can happen quite easily by allowing ourselves to take time to breathe, feel, listen, and see... things that might otherwise rush right past us.
Yvonne Ziegner will guide you with simple awareness and body exercises to prepare you for a short journey of slowing down—toward a connection with nature and with yourself.
