Intro
WMMRC 2027
The World Masters Mountain Running Championships (WMMRC) 2027 will bring the international Masters mountain running community to Klosters. More than 1,000 runners from over 30 nations will travel to the Swiss Alps to compete on spectacular trails in the Uphill, Long Distance and Up & Downhill disciplines, all aiming for World Championship titles.
The competition programme includes three races:
The Uphill Race on Thursday, 10 June 2027 (7.1 km / 830 m elevation gain) leads from Arena Klosters to the Madrisa mountain station and is a pure uphill challenge.
On Friday, 11 June 2027, the Long-Distance Race (32.7 km / almost 2,000 m elevation gain) follows – a demanding course through the spectacular alpine landscape surrounding Klosters.
The championships conclude on Saturday, 12 June 2027 with the Up & Downhill Race (11.1 km / 530 m ascent and descent), starting and finishing at Arena Klosters.
The World Championships promise exciting races, an international atmosphere and unforgettable mountain running moments set against the unique Alpine scenery of Klosters.

• 20% discount voucher for the Madrisa cable car (for participants in all other races)
• Refreshments along the course and at the finish
• Bag drop in the start/finish area in Klosters
• Free showers in the finish area at Arena Klosters
• Free admission to the Klosters outdoor swimming pool
• Medical support throughout the races
• Free download of your personal finisher certificate
• Free download of GPX files for the race courses
• Organisation and event services ensuring the professional delivery of the races
Final Pasta Dinner
Celebrate together – Final Pasta Dinner included
After the sporting highlights, Saturday evening is dedicated entirely to the international Masters community. Every participant automatically receives a ticket for the Final Pasta Dinner – already included in the entry fee.
