Yodeling Choir Entertainment
Overview
Intro
As an all-male club, Schönengrund naturally focuses first and foremost on the traditional “Zäuerli” and sings yodeling songs by various Swiss composers.
The Schönengrund Yodeling Choir was founded in 1955 by Josef Brunner, Karl Alder, Ernst Schlumpf, Jakob Mettler, Jakob Kellenberger, Jakob Dietrich, Otto Huber, and Jakob Lämmler.
Today, our choir consists of 19 to 24 members. We perform the Appenzeller Zäuerli and various Swiss yodeling songs—and we do so with passion!
