Lush green flower meadows, fascinating fauna, an emerald green mountain lake with temperatures as high as 23 degrees and a fantastic view of the mountains – you'll find it all in the village of Lungern.
Description
One of the nicest bicycle trails is the one leading around the lake; it’s both easy and exciting. You start in Obsee, right next to the «Lungern-Turren-Bahn» station. This is also where you’ll find the Brünig Indoor shooting center. In June and July you can see more than 100 types of butterflies in the nature paradise of Brünig-West.
After you pass Kaiserstuhl and Bürglen, you’ll see the Dundelsbach waterfall. The two-level fall is definitely worth a closer look. It’s under national protection.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
