Views of the Alps from the Längenberg, near Gschneit/Oberbütschel. Popular year-round place for walking, in winter there's even a little hill so the children can have fun sledging. The well-known writer from Bern, Rudolf von Tavel (1866–1934) was the first person to write the history of Bern and other articles in local dialect: "Ds Bärnerland isch i dr Morgestilli gläge mit aller syr währschafte, brave Schönheit..."
