Description

Spending a night in an igloo village is truly special. Something that will make others curious and which you will love talking about in future. A cosy night’s sleep is guaranteed in the warm winter expedition sleeping bags. The romantic igloos are lined with lambskin and designed by international artists. Each is different – perfect for special moments. The igloo village also boasts a hot tub. Guides look after the guests, spoiling them with homemade mulled wine and a traditional cheese fondue. The activities on offer are weather-dependent in each case.

Ascent on the Gornergrat Bahn. Exit at the Riffelberg stop (NOT Riffelalp). Meet at Hotel Riffelberg (NOT Restaurant Riffelberg) for welcome/instruction by our guides. Train ride (five minutes) and hike (approx. ten minutes) to the igloo village. Arrival at the igloo village at 2,727m a.s.l. Activities in and around the igloo (welcome drink, check-in to igloo, evening meal, snowshoe hike, hot tub, cosy get-together). Cup of tea brought to guests in their sleeping bag in the morning. Walk to Hotel Riffelberg. Breakfast and departure at your leisure.
