Zinalrothorn (4,221m a.s.l.) at a glance
There is many a “Rothorn” in the Alps. But the Zinalrothorn, which seems to unmistakably lean at an angle at its peak, has really earned the “Horn” part. This summit, 4,221 metres above sea level and close to the Zinal holiday result, is an entirely rock summit, a classic alpine climbing peak. It is also accordingly popular among mountaineers. The ascent can takes you along various routes from the Grand Mountet Hut, the Rothorn Hut or the Arpitetta Hut.
