Whether springs, city streams, fountains, bathhouses or the Limmat - in Baden, water determines the flow of things. On this tour you will learn more about the close relationship between the city and "its" water.
It is impossible to imagine the 2000-year history of Baden without water. It even owed its foundation to the liquid element, because the Romans were the first to settle near the hot springs and founded "Aquae Helveticae". In modern German this would be translated as "Water of Helvetia". Besides the springs, the Limmat and especially the bridges over the river play an important role in the city's history.
The tour leads through the Klus of Baden, which was formed by the Limmat during thousands of years. One thing is guaranteed: Your thirst for knowledge about Baden's elixir of life will definitely be quenched during this guided tour.
