Follow the route of the legendary Lauberhorn downhill ski race in the opposite direction in summer. Discover just how high the Hundschopf jump is and how steep the pistes actually are. The views of the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau are absolutely unbeatable.
Description
From Allmend railway station you reach Heggbrücke along a forest path. From here you hike up the route of the ski race, passing famous key sections such as Langentreijen, Wasserstation, Canadian Corner, Minschkante, Hundschopf and Russisprung, to reach the starting hut on the Lauberhornschulter. Information panels along the trail provide fascinating facts on the longest downhill race in the Ski World Cup.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
