Via ferrata & Rope Parks in Bern Region

The Adventure Park Ropetech near Thunplatz is a fixed-rope park established among the natural tree population of the Bernese Dählhölzli Forest.

A characteristic Alpine via ferrata, set against a stunning backdrop, with excellent safety using rope wires, pitons and some ladders.

The Kandersteg-Allmenalp via ferrata takes you through a 350-metre-high rock face with waterfalls, Nepal footbridges and a spectacular roof overhang. A challenging adventure in the Bernese Alps with a fantastic view of the valley.

The via ferrata leads high above the Lauterbrunnen valley from Mürren to Gimmelwald. Ice pegs, ladders and stairs lead along the steep rock face – with magnificent views down into the valley and guaranteed thrills.

The via ferrata on the Rotstock, 260 metres in length, is a route for via ferrata walkers and experienced mountain walkers with a head for heights (and with the right safety equipment). The key to the climb is the vertical section immediately after the start. In the event of snow, strong rain or ice, this is very definitely not a route to be climbed. Like anywhere else on the Eiger, rock-falls cannot be ruled out.
