This beautiful route is a wonderful way of discovering the many cultural and natural facets of Val-de-Travers, the birthplace of absinthe.

Along the Lütschine up to Grindelwald, the glacier village at the foot of the majestic Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau peaks, on over Grosse Scheidegg, past Rosenlauischlucht (gorge) and the Reichenbach Falls, where Sherlock Holmes fell to his death, to Meiringen.

From the valley floor to Alpine huts. From Olivone, the path follows ancient historical routes through beautiful larch woods to Capanna Bovarina at 1,870 metres above sea level. The effort of the climb is rewarded by a smooth descent through pastures and woods surrounded by breathtaking views.

Delightful landscapes and from technical point of view, attractive biking with constant ups and downs. The Gantrisch Biking tour leads around the Gibelegg, south-west of Riggisberg.

A long ascent to the«Welschgätterli» high above the Lüsseltal, a rocky pass and the language border. The last part of the tour runs at high level to Délemont.

This stage leads over the north slope of the Napf to the historic town of Willisau in Lucerne’s hinterland. It then follows the hillcrest between Nottwil and Rottal to Lucerne, with views of the Sempachersee and Vierwaldstädtersee lakes.

Ravines and wooded knolls characterize fir-cone country, pilgrims’ stop at the Fischingen Benedictine Monastery. Steep Sternenberg rewards with panoramic views. Over flat marshland at the Pfäffikersee, through villages and farm fields down to Zürichsee.

From the marriage of the Aare and Rhine through flat Wehntal to Zurich, then the oasis of the Neeracher Riet reed beds, exposed to aeronautic noise, soon the Töss, extensive fields, just touching Winterthur, on over the Seerücken to the silvery Untersee.

The circular bike route from Sedrun to the Maighels Hut first leads straight to the source of the Rhine before crossing the Oberalp Pass and returning to Sedrun. Pleasant resting areas, SAC Huts and restaurants along the route entice you to take a break.

Varied itinerary in woods, pastures and on winding roads. It is ideal to discover the Les Diablerets land-scapes. At a stop half-way at Lake Retaud, mountain bikers can stretch their legs and admire the majestic Diablerets massif.

This trail takes you along the heights of the Montreux Riviera, through its forests, clearings, most renowned passes and panoramic routes. It offers a beautiful outlook over the Montreux Riviera and is a thrill for experienced mountain bikers.

This tour offers a chance to explore the green hills and mountains of Malcantone: an encounter with nature that allows you to observe different ecosystems and their development.

The Hörnli-Bike route through the Zürcher Oberland and Toggenburg leads through one of the loveliest pre-Alpine regions in Switzerland. It’s hard to believe that the big city is so close. Particularly attractive in times of autumn fog.

On the traffic-free old road towards Passo del Lucomagno, from Mother Nature’s parklands up to the rugged pass head, boundary between the Ticino and Graubünden. Descent through the Val Medel and Höllenschlucht (gorge) to the monastery village of Disentis.

The route follows the meandering River Glatt in the Zurich Unterland, only briefly interrupted by the noise from the airport. Urban activity gives way to the rolling countryside of the Zurich Oberland, then gently on down to Rapperswil.

Start in the medieval town of Estavayer-le-Lac, first stop the peaceful Payerne Abbey Church. On over rolling molasse terrain, past tiny Lac de Seedorf and milky-blue Schiffenensee to Laupen at the confluence of the Sense and Saane.

The rocky path through Val d’Uina is world famous by now. This section is the undisputed highlight on the second stage of the Trans-Altarezia route.

On the uphill stretch to Monte Ceneri a clear view of the Piano di Magadino vegetable fields and Lago Maggiore. Vedeggio, a quiet little river in a busy valley, where the airfield and nearby Lugano call the shots.

Monte Bar is one of the great mountain bike classics in the Ticino. The well-known high altitude path is the heart of the second stage of the Lugano Bike route.

Challenging bike tour with magnificent panoramic views! The alpine trail offers deep insights into the spectacular mountain scenery of the Goms region.

This tour is ideally suited as an after-work tour. It is short, featuring interesting and slightly uphill trail sections with wonderful wide-open views as well as fast-flowing and steep but simpler sections downhill that call for the right measure of concentration.

The tour is ideal for exploring and discovering the unspoilt landscape in and around Schwyz. The Schwyz valley basin is surrounded by the rugged Mythen and beautiful Lake Lucerne. And in the heart of this idyllic landscape lies the historic small town of Schwyz.

The ride between Thusis and Juf-Avers is like a demanding journey through time. After the busy traffic around Viamala Gorge, a long, steep ascent takes you to Juf-Avers, the highest (alt. 2126 m) settlement in Switzerland to be inhabited all year round.

The Gotthardpass Alpine transit route of European importance. On horseback, by train, car or bike: everyone wanted and still wants to head south via the Gotthard. The Hospiz, a colourful concoction of bratwurst, language chaos, camera clicks and growling motorbikes.

The «Capricorn Tour» is a medium to difficult level tour with great variety in the Val Nandro - a side valley of Surses. The highlights of this tour are the high plain of Radons as well as Somtgant at 2112 metres.

Starting at Lutry railway station, this easy loop (310m difference in altitude over 30km) follows the Route de la Corniche. This classic route is popular with the region’s many cyclists.

At the start, wide cornfields followed by vegetable fields. The easy-going French-speaking lifestyle followed by Bernese pragmatism. Numerous historical towns along the route, refreshing waters of the Broye, Murtensee, Aare and Emme.

From Yverdon through the Plaine de l’Orbe. Roman mosaics lie buried on the slopes, the Romanesque Abbey Church sits serenely in Romainmôtier, barely accessible the natural paradise of Marais de la Versoix, before sudden arrival in the metropolis of Genève.

300 metres deep: Via Mala, the most awe-inspiring Rhaetian gorge. 800-year-old mythical creatures hover on the ceiling of Zillis Church - the most famous wooden ceiling in the Western world. Old wooden dwellings tiled with heavy gneiss slabs in Splügen.

Past dark moorland ponds up to a solar power plant and whistling windmills, edged by sycamores strung with lichen and via the flat ridge of the Mont Soleil to the contrast of La Chaux-de-Fonds, into the mercurial timepiece metropolis.
