Capanna Campo Tencia The hut lies at an altitude of 2140 meters, on a terrace named Poggio del Giübin that dominates the upper Piumogna valley. Belonging to the SAC Section Ticino, the Campo-Tencia hut is the first mountain hut in the Ticino Alps. It was constructed way back in 1912 at the foot of the summit bearing the same name. The Campo Tencia hut is renowned for its excellent cuisine and large choice of both hot and cold Ticino-style specialities served throughout the day in amicable ambiance.
