Gredetsch Valley
Lots of sheep and steep, craggy mountainsides: these are the main features of the wild valley behind the saffron village of Mund, easily accessible on foot through the tunnel for the newly created water courses or via the historic "suonen". In the past, when the Gredetsch Alp was trampled over by cattle, the shepherds were only allowed to let their flocks graze over the whole valley once the cattle had been driven back down the mountain.
