Did you know…? Some farms not only have farm shops but also run their own restaurants. Immerse yourself completely in that real farm atmosphere and relax as you sip another apple juice. Below are some of the most laid-back farm restaurants in Switzerland.

Hüttlisegghof, Habkern

We run a farm in Habkern with 15 dairy cows, 6 cattle and 8 pigs. Summer (June to September) is spent on the Heubühlen Alp, where we produce Alpkäse hard cheese, Alpmutschli semi-hard cheese and ten varieties of raclette cheese as well as four varieties of Alpine butter and Rahmtäfeli fudge. We sell all of these products directly on the alp. In addition to our show-dairy, we also run a traditional restaurant or Beizli, where we offer Sennenfrühstück (creamery breakfast), raclette evenings and a barbecue and raclette catch-up evening on 1 August. In addition to agriculture, Roland also works as a hoof care specialist, forest warden and ski instructor.
