Mountain biking in Bern Region

An easy tour with trail highlights in the isolated Kiental. The stamina-sapping ascent on asphalt from Frutigen is rewarded with views over the Engstligental and a loop to the imposing, mysterious Bunderle rock basin with its thundering waterfall.

Easy, long ascent through Reichenbachtal up to Grosse Scheidegg at the foot of the mighty Wetterhorn cliffs. In a second loop, breathtaking descent to Grindelwald with spectacular, close-up views of the nearby glacier and snow-covered summits.

Already impressive ascent along the foot of the Eiger North Wall to Kleine Scheidegg. Absolute highlight: the descent to Lauterbrunnen in the majestic company of the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau - simply breathtaking.

From the scenic town of Thun by the same-named lake, the route heads up towards the Gurnigel Pass into the untouched Alpine foothills of the Gantrisch region. Panoramic single trails lead into the Fribourg Alps and Lake Schwarzsee.

A continual up and down high above the Thunersee lake heading west. The mighty Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau massif soon appears. Well-kept houses, snowy summits and a lake landscape form the classic picture-postcard paradise.
