Situated on the banks of Lake Geneva for more than 150 years, facing Mont Blanc and the Geneva harbour, the Hôtel d’Angleterre welcomes guests to its 39 rooms and six suites, all individually decorated. The Windows restaurant offers simple yet delicious cuisine for lunch and dinner and also during the afternoon with its traditional Afternoon Tea. Finally, the Leopard Bar, a hotspot of Geneva nightlife, is the intimate rendezvous spot for lovers of live music, well into the early hours of the morning.

Description

Each of the 39 rooms and 6 luxury suites casts its own spell. Some room types are richly decorated for an opulent, yet cosily inward-looking mood; others make the most of their stunning views across Lake Geneva. All reflect the 5-star grandeur and European style and comfort for which Geneva is famous. The aptly named Windows Restaurant is open throughout the day. Here you can survey the entrancing panoramic views of the lake and distant Alps mountains as you make your choice from the menus with delightful dishes. In the evening, unwind to the soothing melodies of the nightly live music, sit back and enjoy a drink from the extensive choice of cocktails, spirits, fine wines, and premium beers in the comfortable and colorful Leopard Bar. The Hotel d’Angleterre, fabulously set on the banks of Lake Geneva, is just a five-minute walk away from the city center where one can find the famous Rue du Rhone with its numerous luxury boutiques, the majestic Saint Paul’s cathedral, and the picturesque old town with its cafés and local restaurants. Other nearby prominent attractions include the Jet d’Eau, the flower clock, the United Nations and the United Nations. From Cornavin railway station Geneva's main station is a seven minute walk to Hotel d'Angleterre (800m). •Walk along Rue des Alpes and turn left onto Quai du Mont-Blanc. Hotel D’Angleterre is number 17 •Taxis from the station to the hotel should be between CHF 15.- and CHF 25.-.
