Situated on the banks of a small river in Charmey, the Chalet du Chamois is surrounded by pastures and forests, in the midst of a charming village of the Gruyère in the Fribourg Pre-Alps (Switzerland). On 950 metres (3'116 feet) above sea level, the Chalet offers quietness and space, featuring a soccer pitch, a BBQ area, a outdoor fireplace, and a beautiful playroom. Open for skiing, sledgeing and mountain hiking, the Chalet du Chamois is also well-suited for the discovery of the touristic region of the Gruyère. Chocolate from Broc, cheese and cream from the valley, but also museums, folklore and choir tradition. Only four kilometres away is Charmey, the holiday resort for winter and summer with its RAPIDO SKY equipment, and featuring minigolf, ice-skating rink, indoor swimming pool, gym, thermal bath Bains de la Gruyère.
