Not a train wreck: BLS can look back on a history spanning 100 years.
With its pioneering spirit, it has played a major role in shaping Swiss rail transport; from the opening of the Lötschberg tunnel and an Alpine railway in 1913, to today’s second-largest suburban railway operation in Switzerland.
