Orange Days - 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women

Introducción
Domestic Violence in the Digital Age: Take Notice. Take Action. Help.
Violence doesn’t just happen behind closed doors. Today, it can also be perpetrated via smartphones, social media, and digital technologies—through surveillance, control, threats, cyberstalking, or the distribution of intimate images. As part of Switzerland’s “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” in 2026, which focuses on digital gender-based violence, Soroptimist Brig and Inner Wheel Oberwallis will dedicate this evening specifically to domestic violence and its various forms. The event will provide information from the fields of politics, law enforcement, medicine, counseling, and victim protection, and will highlight where those affected and their support networks can find assistance.
