Public guided tour of the castle
Vista general
Introducción
The imposing donjon, valuable objects and the rich history of the castle and the town of Thun in the Middle Ages are presented in a one-hour guided tour of the historical museum.
On the Schlossberg - above the town of Thun and visible from afar - sits the 12th century Zähringer Castle with its four towers. The castle's showpiece is the Knights' Hall - the best-preserved ceremonial hall from the High Middle Ages in Switzerland. The five large halls of the tower (donjon) contain many different objects and highlights of history and culture.
The guides take visitors on a guided tour of the historical museum, immersing them in a bygone era. The tour also provides information about the building, the culture and history of the castle and the town of Thun. Registration at: info@schlossthun.ch
