The Red Hot Chilli Pipers combine traditional bagpipes with rock and pop music to create their own unique sound, which they themselves call "bag rock". Since their formation in 2002, the Scottish band has established itself internationally - not least thanks to their victory in the BBC show When Will I Be Famous? in 2007.
Their shows thrive on the interplay of bagpipes, guitars, drums and vocals and offer a mixture of their own songs and reinterpretations of well-known songs. With their current tour "Back to Roots" - named after the album released in 2025 - they are returning to their musical origins and presenting new material as well as tried and tested classics.
The band has played in front of an audience of millions worldwide and has appeared on major stages and festivals.
