Summer in Morcote 2026

Morcote is preparing for a summer full of events with Summer in Morcote 2026, the cultural programme promoted by the Municipality that will bring the village and Parco Scherrer to life through concerts, talks, immersive experiences, family activities and moments of conviviality.

All events will be free of charge, with the aim of making culture accessible, inclusive and shared in one of the most enchanting locations on Lake Ceresio.

Among the first highlights is Morcote Jazz 2026, taking place from 19 to 21 June at Parco Scherrer. Three days dedicated to contemporary jazz and musical experimentation, featuring the Maeva Briacca Trio, Marco Bianchi Vibes and the poetic-musical brunch Monte Analogo / Mont Analogue, creating a dialogue between music, words and landscape.

On 4 July, the spotlight will turn to the presentation of “Il Percorso Incompiuto – Treasures of Ticino”, a new immersive narrative treasure hunt set in Parco Scherrer, accompanied by a second experience in the historic heart of the village. A project that combines play, culture, technology and the promotion of local heritage.

The programme will continue with two important musical collaborations: Ceresio Estate, celebrating its 50th anniversary, and Ticino Musica, marking 30 years of its festival.

There will also be opportunities for collective celebration with the double festivities on 31 July and 1 August in Piazza Granda, featuring live music, aperitifs, local products and entertainment.

Adding a special social dimension to the programme is the collaboration with Move for Charity, which will manage the panoramic Rooftop Bar during selected special evenings at Spazio Garavello 7.

Summer in Morcote 2026 is therefore an open invitation to experience Morcote not only as a tourist destination, but as a vibrant and participatory cultural experience.
