Introducción
As part of the lynx research program of the western Alps, two lynxes were caught below the Betelberg cableway and tagged with transmitters in 1997.
Only the most beautiful sites are good enough for the shy, elegant lynxes to live in. The Lynx Trail is 6km long and runs from the Leiterli mountain inn to the Wallegg mountain inn on the Betelberg. Several true replicas of lynx "dwellings" have been tucked away and hidden along the trail - only very observant hikers will be able to discover them. The information booth at the Wallegg mountain inn provides further exciting insights into the secret life of lynxes. The Lynx Trail is suitable for children from the age of 7 who are good walkers.
