Hotel BEATUS in Merligen is located directly on Lake Thun and offers 277 metres of private lakeshore – one of the longest private lakefronts in Switzerland. The immediate proximity to the water shapes the character of the house and creates a sense of openness with views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The hotel park with its century-old trees further enhances this setting.

At the heart of the hotel lies the BEATUS bathing world, featuring the saltwater outdoor pool (35 ºC), an indoor sports pool (29 ºC) and a varied sauna landscape. Treatments, relaxation areas and a guided indoor and outdoor activity programme complement the wellness experience.

The cuisine follows a clear philosophy: seasonal, fresh and regionally inspired. Alpine products meet Mediterranean influences. Quality ingredients, careful craftsmanship and attentive service define the culinary experience.

The 71 rooms and suites are designed for tranquillity and space, offering views of the lake or the mountains.
