1848년 지어진 이 호텔은 포스키아보(Poschiavo) 최초의 호텔이었으며, 색다른 재미가 가득한 마을 광장 가운데 자리잡고 있다. 모든 객실은 재단장 되었으며, 샤워실과 화장실을 갖추고 있다. 피자 레스토랑에서는 포스키아보 및 계절 특선요리, 나무장작 화덕에서 바로 구워내는 바삭한 피자 등을 내놓는다. 호텔은 무녀들(Sybils)의 초상화가 걸린 아름다운 식당, 벽난로와 마을 광장을 향해 나있는 넓은 테라스가 딸린 편안한 호텔 바로 유명하다.

1682년 베르나르도 마셀라(Bernardo Massella)가 지은 건물은 “바비에라의 일루미나티(Illuminati di Baviera)”를 위한 장소로 쓰였다. 괴테(Goethe)의 “젊은 베르테르의 슬픔(The Sorrows of Young Werther)”의 첫 이탈리아어 번역본이 이곳에서 인쇄되었다. 오래된 가구들과 높은 천장, 두꺼운 벽, 향수 어린 손길이 닿은 공간, 벽난로는 지난 과거에 다시 생명을 불어넣는다. 자동차 통행금지 구역인 마을 광장에 자리하고 있어 독보적인 입지를 자랑한다.

1998년 특별상 “17세기 시빌 홀(Hall of the Sibyls)에 대한 성실한 관리와 건물을 보존하는 복원” 부문에 선정되었다. 마르셀라(Massella) 가문은 1682년 포스키아보 마을 광장에 위풍당당한 장원을 건축했다. 1848년 장관 피에트로 알브리치(Podestà Pietro Albrici)에게 팔린 이후, 현재까지 그의 후손들이 이 부동산을 소유하고 있다. 호텔은 교회와 더불어 마을 광장에 세워진 건물 중 가장 중요한 건축물로 꼽힌다. 내부에는 아치형 복도와 닮은 1층의 홀인 살레타(Saletta) 등 몇 군데의 중요한 구역이 있다. 90년대에 소유주 가문은 역사적 건축물 보존 부서와의 긴밀한 협조 하에 리노베이션을 진행했으며, 1996년 외관을 복원을 마지막으로 작업을 완성했다. 노력을 기울인 리노베이션은 포스키아보 마을 광장의 모습에 크게 기여했다.
