Intro

클라인-바젤(Klein-Basel)(Lesser-Basel)의 라인(Rhine)강 제방 바로 옆에 위치한 호텔이다. 2005년 기존 건물 구조를 포괄적으로 개조를 마쳤으며, 스위스 타입의 가구로 꾸며져 있다. 2008년에는 별관에 욕실이 딸리고 비트라(Vitra)의 가구를 설치하여 개조한 12개의 객실이 문을 열었다. 라인(Rhine)강이 내려다 보이는 레스토랑과 테라스 모두에서 지역과 계절 재료로 만든 크라프트(Krafft) 요리를 맛볼 수 있다.

The Krafft is located in the middle of Basel with an impressive view of the opposite bank of the Rhine with the historic buildings and the Basel Cathedral. "Simplicity, authenticity and quality" are the guiding principles of this 4-star hotel.

2007년 유서 깊은 호텔(Historic hotel of the year 2007) 이 곳은 ”개조를 위한 자원의 신중한 사용과 건축물에 대한 배려, 유형학 및 가구의 보존 가치” 등의 내용으로 유서 깊은 호텔의 영예를 안았다. 또한 “신선한 창조성을 통합한 현대적 시설의 추가, 그리고 무엇보다도 이 유서 깊은 타운 호텔의 생명이자 영혼을 나타내는 직원들의 열정”을 높이 평가했다. 1872년, 에른스트 크라프트(Ernst Krafft)는 라인(Rhine)강의 클라인바즐러(Kleinbasler)(Lesser-Basel)에 있는 3개의 중세 노동자 거주지를 4개 층에 7열로 된 호텔로 넓혀 바꾸었다. 유명인 고객 중 한 사람인 헤르만 헤세(Hermann Hesse)는 이 곳에 머무는 동안 “스테판울프(Steppenwolf)를 썼다. 1958년 개조, 증축되었고 2002년 현재 소유자인 Franz-Xaver Leonhardt가 호텔을 사들였다. 2003년, 이디스 메리욘(Edith Maryon) 재단이 참여해 2004년부터 2006년에 걸쳐 모든 객실을 개조하고 1950년대 가구인 “티펜모벨(Typenmöbel)”을 설치했다.

The Rhine and the silhouette of the Münsterberg houses provide a pleasant distraction. And if you have big projects for a large group, the Pfister by Krafft Basel workshop is the ideal place. As the original home of Möbel Pfister, it was here that things were created that lasted a long time. Up to 55 creative people can work in four different areas.
