Spending a night in an igloo village is truly special. Something that will make others curious and which you will love talking about in future. A cosy night’s sleep is guaranteed in the warm winter expedition sleeping bags. The romantic igloos are lined with lambskin and designed by international artists. Each is different – perfect for special moments. The igloo village also boasts a hot tub. Guides look after the guests, spoiling them with homemade mulled wine and a traditional cheese fondue. The activities are weather-dependent in each case.

Setting

The Gstaad igloo village is located above Saanenmöser at about 2,000 metres above sea level, near the upper station of the Saanerslochgrat cable car. From here, visitors can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Programme

Ascent on the Saanenmöser-Saanerslochgrat cable car. The Saanerslochgrat mountain restaurant can be found in the cable car station. Meet at the Saanerslochgrat mountain restaurant for welcome by an igloo guide. Walk to the igloo village (approx. five minutes). Arrival at the igloo village at 2,000m a.s.l. level, check-in to igloo room. Activities in and around the igloo (welcome drink, evening meal (around 7 p.m.), night-time hike, hot tub, cosy get-together). Cup of tea brought to guests in their sleeping bag the next morning. Followed by breakfast in the Saanerslochgrat mountain restaurant and departure at your leisure.
