400년이 넘는 인상적인 저택은 현재 4개의 로맨틱하고 각기 다른 가구들로 꾸며진 매력적인 프라이빗 호텔로 거듭났다. 과거 생활모습을 엿볼 수 있는 6층 규모의 거대한 박물관이 호텔 일부분을 차지하고 있다. Landvogthaus는 오너에 의해 금연을 실시하고 있으며, 토티(Tödi)의 탁 트인 멋진 경관을 조망할 수 있는 객실이 좋은 반응을 얻고 있다.

The hotel in the museum The manor house built in the 16th century has four guest rooms which individually furnished and truly historic, with great attention to detail. As a true oasis for time travelers who appreciate the special, private atmosphere, it is as impressive as with its panoramic view of the Glarus Great Valley. The hotel is integrated in a museum, in most of the rooms the home decor of Swiss patrician families from four centuries is shown. The Landvogthaus is run by its owner. Non smoking house. Close by are other, interesting tourist destinations such as Braunwald, Elm, Glarus, Naefels, the Klöntal or the Klausen Pass.
The Landvogthaus located at the southern end of the village Nidfurn and offers a wonderful view of the Glarus Great Valley and the majestic Todi. This magnificent view crowns each stay. The romantic garden of the Governor house immediately adjacent to meadows and fields. Numerous roads are ideal for walking or hiking in beautiful natural Glarus. In Great Valley, there is a special microclimate, as always blows in the summer on a high heat a pleasant, light breeze, in the winter the days are mostly free of fog, and even on rainy days, offers a range of impressive moods. Nidfurn is about 7 km south of Glarus towards Linthal. Nidfurn can be reached from Zurich in an hour by train or car.
