세심한 배려가 느껴지는 곳: 안락함을 최우선으로 하는 로만틱 호텔 쉔엑은 오래된 목재와 고전 가구 등을 이용하여 재단장하였다. 손님들은 침실에서 숨막힐 듯 아름다운 파노라마 경치를 감상할 수 있고, 촛불 아래에서 낭만적인 저녁식사를 하며 맛있는 스위스 요리를 맛볼 수 있는데, 고미요 13포인트를 받았다. 그리고 벵엔(Wengen)에서 유일하게 그룹을 받지 않은 곳이어서, 별 여행자에게 "오아시스"와도 같은 곳이다.

To make sure it retained its authenticity and exclusive charm, the Hotel Schönegg has been renovated using old timber and specially selected antiques. Guests can enjoy a breathtaking panorama from its bedrooms, and, in the restaurant by candlelight, the delicacies from the kitchen, which has been awarded 14 Gault Millau Points or in the cosy Restaurant Stübli. It is, by the way, the only hotel in Wengen that does not accommodate groups, making it an "oasis" for individual travellers.
The Hotel Schönegg is located in a slightly elevated position at the end of the village centre of Wengen, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Wengen is almost car-free and can only be reached by train from Lauterbrunnen (the hotel is a mere 200 metres from the railway station).
