동심의 세계(Ad Parnassum)
“동심의 세계”는 정교한 작업과정의 결과물이다. 파울 클레(Paul Klee)는 맨 아래 레이어에 색색의 사각형을 그린 다음, 그 위에 수많은 작고 밝은 점을 찍고, 마지막으로 오렌지색 원과 선을 더해 그림을 완성했다. 오렌지색의 원은 태양을, 왼쪽 아래 도형은 문을 연상 시키며, 끝부분의 커다란 팁은 집의 지붕, 산, 혹은 피라미드로 해석된다. 클레는 자신의 기억을 꺼내어 추상적으로 그린다고 말한 바가 있다. 결과적으로 이집트 여행 경험과 그에게 영감을 주었던 툰(Thun) 호수 옆 니센(Niesen) 산의 모양 등이 이 작품의 바탕이 된 것으로 보인다.
