섬의 전체도(General view of the island)
이 전체도는 패턴과 상징, 머리, 악보 등 뵐플리(Woelfli)를 대표하는 텍스트들로 채워져 있다. 그림 속 가상의 섬을 뵐플리가 한 무리의 사람들의 리더로 방문하는 장면을 표현하고 있다. 아돌프 뵐플리(Adolf Woelfli)는 베른 근교 발다우(Waldau)의 정신 병원의 작은 방에서 독특하고 예술적인 우주를 창조해내었다.
