Overview
Intro
Another evening featuring the complete recording of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's master sonatas for piano and violin.
Bettina Sartorius continues her series featuring all of Mozart’s violin sonatas at Frag-Art in the Solothurn Concert Hall. The world-class violinist grew up in Balsthal. She has been a permanent member of the Berlin Philharmonic since 2001. She has always wanted to perform all of Mozart’s violin sonatas. She will be accompanied on the piano by Hendrik Heilmann, her husband. Years ago, he landed the coveted position as pianist with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. The two also have a wonderful musical rapport and live in Berlin with their two children.
The program features the sonatas K. 296, 377, 378, 379, 380, and 454
