Casa Cantoni in Cabbio, home of the Muggio Valley Ethnographic Museum, takes on the function of an information center where visitors and visitors find the indispensable information they need to understand the values of the Valley's landscape, ethnographic and historical heritage. The Museum is committed to the restoration and enhancement of the traces left by man in the area. This is why it can be said that the real "museum is in the territory!" The main objects restored and open to the public are: the Bruzella mill, the graa of Roncapiano, the roccolo of Scudellate, the nevère on Monte Generoso, the chestnut forest of Caneggio and the dry stone wall between Scudellate and Erbonne. At the entrance to Casa Cantoni is a large model of the Valley and an introductory section with useful information. On the top floor, a wonderful overview of the Upper Valley concludes the visitor's tour of the information center and invites him or her to go and check out the area for themselves.
