If you are looking to get some fresh evening air once dusk has fallen, head to the golf course. Usually home to golfers, over the winter months the course is bathed in warm lantern light. Along the trail, visitors are told the story of the famous local legend, according to which the eponymous star shone brightly to guide the shepherd on his path home. The lanterns are used to symbolise this path. Each December, village residents place a lantern in their window to remember the star in the story.
