Ultimately, the green track is a hightlight for many cross-country skiers: rather than exploring the village on foot, choose cross-country skis instead. The quiet alpine village in the Bernese Oberland kept its authentic alpine village charme. Parts of the track will bring you past beautiful chalets encarved with typical Swiss wood art. If you’re staying at a holiday apartment, there’s a good chance you have direct access to the cross-country tracks.

After a scenic uphill halfway through the circular tour, you reach the Skijumping hillside of the Nordic Arena. Take a break and watch the Skijumpers soar through the air!

Open fields in combination with short passages through the forest make the green track an interesting and varied route. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can shorten your round by taking a simple turn-off. The easy loop rejoins the green track and leads back to the start at the Hotel des Alpes.
