Inleiding

Fin-de-siècle, belle époque en Jugendstil bepalen de ambiance in hotel Schweizerhof Flims. In de zomer lokt het Caumameer en de geurende alpenflora, 's winters zijn het de 235 kilometer piste en de heerlijke winterwandelpaden. Sinds 2008 wordt het hotel geleid door de 4e generatie van de familie Schmidt. Restaurant Belle Epoque, halfpension of à la carte met hoogwaardige producten met een Frans accent.

Our four-star hotel from the Belle Epoque is centrally but quietly located in Flims Waldhaus, on a small hill with a wonderful view, within walking distance of the Flims LAAX Falera mountain railways and in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Lake Cauma.

Wedding

Schweizerhof Hotel Flims – a wedding and event venue fit for Cinderella and her prince! And rightly so – our soft pink Belle Epoque hotel, with its crenellations and turrets, original dance floor and Murano glass chandeliers, is like something out of a fairytale. When you get married at our hotel you say yes to relaxed alpine fin de siècle grandeur – and yes to a wedding straight out of a picture book!

Swiss Historic Hotels and Lodgings

Traditioneel hotel, dat in 1903 in belle époquestijl en Jugendstil is gebouwd. Tegenwoordig wordt het door de 4 generatie van de familie geleid. De regisseur Daniel Schmid was kleinzoon van de oprichter van het hotel en heeft er cultureel zijn stempel opgedrukt. Ook Albert Einstein, keizerin Zita en Marie Curie kwamen hier voor hun "zomervakantie". De geschiedenis van de Schweizerhof kan nagelezen worden in het boek "Literarische Grandhotels der Schweiz".
