Inleiding

Het Märchenhotel ligt in Braunwald op het autovrije zonneterras van Glarnerland en is een van de beste familiehotels van Zwitserland (derde beste familie hotel op basis van de rangschikking van de SonntagsZeitung). Het voormalige verbouwde Grandhotel biedt veel ruimte voor groot en klein. Indrukwekkende panoramische eetzaal, moderne familiesuites, wellness faciliteiten met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Startpunt voor wandeltochten naar de Zwerg Bartli-Erlebnisweg of 's winters naar het skigebied Braunwald.

Beschrijving

Märchenhotel welcomes you to Braunwald - the pedestrianised sun terrace in Glarnerland. The hotel specialises in catering to families. Plenty of exciting activities, playgrounds, family pools and wellness areas make sure your family and you are well entertained while staying at the hotel.
Highlight: During summer there is a small animal zoo with alpacas, bunnies, goats, lamas and chicken. Sleigh tracks, ski slopes and of course lots of sun are the stars of the show in winter.
You can expect modern rooms and outstanding childcare (up to 12 hours per day) in the marvelous, lovingly renovated Grand Hôtel. The hotel offers half-board in its very own kitchen with an international cuisine.
The indoor pools are open around the clock and include a climbing course, an aquarium lift with fish, a slide from the first floor to the children’s reception as well as a 15 meter tall climbing wall.
Supervised childcare is available 12 hours every day and every evening a kids-dinner is served in the dedicated children’s dining room. Just outside the hotel there is a bouncy castle in a huge playground including the Golden-Goat-Bridge in the petting zoo with goats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The enormous “Hall of Kings” will wow you with ultra-modern technology such as flying tables, locomotive Emma as well as yet another bouncy castle - yet this one is floating in the air.
And last but definitely not least the “Märchenonkel” or his fairy tell a legendary fairy tale every night. Let’s begin with..once upon a time...

Permanent geopend binnenbad met klimparcours, aquariumlift met vissen, glijbaan van de eerste verdieping naar de kinderreceptie, 15 m hoge klimwand. Speeltuin met toezicht (dagelijks 9 uur), avondeten voor kinderen in de kindereetzaal. Springkasteel, grote speelplaats naast het hotel, Golden-Geiss-brug met geiten, konijnen en cavia's om te aaien.
