Riederalp
Introdução
Riederalp é um resort de férias de verão e inverno, próprio para toda a família e sem a presença de carros, localizado num alto planalto ensolarado, cercado por uma zona interiorana com características de parque, a uma altitude de quase 2.000 metros acima do nível do mar. The Jungfrau-Aletsch region as a landscape of exceptional beauty has been included in the list of UNESCO Natural World Heritage Sites. The majestic Aletsch Glacier which is 23 kilometres long is the biggest and most powerful glacier in the Alps consisting of 27 billion metric tonnes of ice.
The holiday resort of Riederalp offers an impressive panorama view of the 4000-metre-high peaks of the Valais Alps, including the Matterhorn and Dom. Awarded the "Families Welcome" quality certificate, Riederalp operates a hire service for children's articles as well as children's activity programme. Golfers will find the highest 9-hole golf course in Europe in the middle of the village.
