The most popular open air bathing spot in Bern. As with all other public baths in the town of Bern, the Marzilibad is completely free. The separate “Paradiesli” and “Männerbad” areas allow men and women to sunbathe unclothed.

O fosso do urso, emblema de Berna, foi transformado num grande parque ursino. Inaugurado em 25 de outubro de 2009, o novo parque de ursos ostenta um ambiente em que esses animais podem escalar, pescar e brincar – possuindo também uma área para onde podem se retirar, a fim de obter privacidade. O terreno tem aproximadamente 6.000 m² de área, estendendo-se desde o fosso de ursos até as margens do rio Aare. Uma passarela atravessa o meio do terreno até o caminho ribeirinho das margens do Aare, proporcionando aos visitantes uma fascinante visão sobre a vida dos ursos. Com a ajuda de câmeras de infravermelho, também é possível observar os ursos à noite.
