Experiencias em Glarnerland

There are two days in the spring and the summer in Elm when sunrise is especially eagerly anticipated. Or to be precise, the spectacle takes place shortly before sunrise. For it is then that the sun shines through the Martin's Hole directly onto the Church of Elm.

Large, widely varied ridge crossing against a fantastic Alpine backdrop; it features a short walk-in, plenty of action and a few special highlights such as the large suspension bridge. Only suitable in good weather conditions (with no risk of storms!).

The beginners and children’s fixed-rope route is located at an elevation of 1900 meters above sea level, behind the mountain inn of Gumen. Children that dare to climb a bit higher have the opportunity to gain experiences on the mountain.

A vista panorâmica e as estrelas tão brilhantes e próximas são quase de tirar o fôlego. A pernoita idílica em quartos duplos ou para 4 pessoas aguarda logo ao lado no Albergue de Montanha Gufel. Após um sono reparador no sossegado mundo das montanhas, tome de manhã o seu reforçado pequeno-almoço camponês servido por Heidi na acolhedora sala alpina aquecida pelo fogão de azulejos.

The rear Glarus valley is a place awash with water: mighty torrents cascade from the mountains all around. Not far from the former «Bergli» restaurant on the road to the Klausen Pass, you can soon hear the thundering sound, and suddenly the rushing waterfall is in front of you.
