O Caminho Suíço leva a sítios históricos pertencentes à Confederação Suíça. O caminho é dividido em etapas parcialmente adaptadas a deficientes motores, sendo acessível por barco ou trem. O pernoite é possível ao final de algumas das trilhas.

Mount Bürgenstock is more than a mountain – it’s a legend. Its cliff path, built between 1900 and 1905, is also legendary. Both the path and the spectacular Hammetschwand Elevator lead you up to Hammetschwand, the highest point of the city of Lucerne.

Via the north wall to the other shore and the Bürgenstock cliff path, which as an Alpine promenade, afforded well-heeled ladies and gentlemen a view back to the city of Lucerne. Past the pilgrimage site of St Jost along the shore at Ennetburgen, Buochs and Beckenried.

This route is very popular with hikers of all ages. From the Rigi Kulm upper station, the gentle descent to Rigi Kaltbad takes just over an hour. This high-altitude hike offers magnificent views over the Swiss Plateau, reaching as far as the Black Forest and the Vosges mountains.
