Samnaun Twinliner – the world’s first double-decker cable car

The Twinliner went into operation in 1995 and was the only double-decker cable car in the world at the time. The aerial cableway takes approximately six minutes to make a total ascent of 722m. One cabin can hold up to 180 people, meaning it can transport around 1,620 people every hour.
