The only hut with a warden in the Calanca Valley is situated at 2,078 meters, near the Buffalora Pass, the passage to the Misox. It offers a spectacular view.
The 30 beds are distributed among seven rooms. If you arrive at Buffalora after a long hike, you will love to stretch your legs in the evening sunshine on the wonderful porch. From June to October half-board can be booked. And another five rooms are found in the unheated extension. The hut remains closed in winter.
