簡介

施泰因 Stein am Rhein是溫特塞湖畔 Untersee的明珠，它位於博登湖 Lake Constance與萊茵河的交匯處。它舉世著名，是因為它把舊城保存完好，鎮上依然矗立不少古老半磚木樓房之餘，很多房屋外牆也畫滿精美壁畫。這些美麗景物，使施泰因獲得了第一個Wakker建築獎。

施泰因 Stein am Rhein 乍看上去

施泰因是一個富有生命力、非常迷人的可愛小鎮。有衆多的風景名勝，如聖格奧爾根修道院 Monastery of St. Georgen，是瑞士的中世紀修道院中，保存最完善的一處。林德烏爾姆博物館 Lindwurm Museum，則生動描繪並展示19世紀的資本家和農業生活，以至當時包括Werd羣島在內的渡假區和旅行目的地的情況。建於1225年的荷恩克林根城堡 Hohenklingen Castle，位於施泰因的高地之上，爲那兒豐富多彩的歷史，增添了新的生機。

施泰因擁有沙夫豪森州 Canton of Schaffhausen最古老的禮拜堂，供奉的是施洗約翰。這座教堂現處於公元3世紀的Tasgetium羅馬要塞遺垣之間。
