The best and most spectacular music and performance groups from around the world will be performing in Basel.

It's that time again: from July 31 to August 2, the Gartenbad St. Jakob in Basel will once again be transformed into the biggest electronic music happening in northwestern Switzerland.

Basel celebrates the Swiss National Day on July 31 with a big city festival and fireworks.

The Jazzfest has been held on the first Friday after the Basel school summer vacations since 1984.

The festival offers theater, dance, performance, urban actions, panel discussions, films and party designed by 170 stage creators from numerous countries.
