Guests who have come for spa and wellness will experience innovative design at the Bains de la Gruyère in Charmey while enjoying breathtaking views of the mountains in the Gruyère region – the perfect way to unwind.
The Bains de la Gruyère in Charmey consists of three extensive indoor and outdoor swimming pools with features such as cascade showers, bubble beds, massage jets and waterfalls. The baths are divided into a Nordic and an Oriental area with different saunas, Turkish baths, a hammam and several rooms for relaxing body and mind. Depending on the season, the natural, mineral-rich water is heated up to 34ºC by means of a district heating system. Aquagym classes, sauna or hammam treatments complete the offer of the baths.
Guests can pamper themselves even more in the wellness and beauty area on the second floor: a variety of soothing massages, individual care and beauty treatments are available. Particular mention should be made of the massage using organic plant oils from the “Jardin des Monts” and the treatment using the finest chocolate.
Getting there: take the train to Fribourg and then continue by bus via La Roche to "Charmey (Gruyère), Corbettaz", take the train to Bulle and then continue by bus to "Charmey (Gruyère), Corbettaz" or by car (free parking available).
