Intro

The Grand Combin de Grafeneire is part of the Grand Combin massif, which really lives up to its nickname of the “Swiss Himalaya”. That’s because the mountain massif is surrounded by thick glacial layers.

Grand Combin de Grafeneire (4,314m a.s.l.) لمحة سريعة عن

The Grand Combin massif is nestled in the western Valais Alps. One of the three main summits is the Grand Combin de Grafeneire, at 4,314 metres above sea level. The whole mountain massif is encased in huge glacial layers, from which it gets its nickname of the “Swiss Himalaya”. From the Valsorey Hut, the ascent leads over the northwest side and up to the peak. Regrettably, the mountain poses risks for those who attempt to climb it, due to regular ice avalanches.
