Rando’péro – a 100% local aperitif, ready to enjoy anywhere
Overview
Intro
Rando’péro in Villars: a take-away aperitif backpack filled with alpine cheese, artisanal cold cuts and local products, to enjoy the flavours of the region during a walk.
Alpine cheese, artisanal cured meats and local bread: with the Rando’péro, the flavours of Villars come straight into your backpack. Designed as a true gourmet experience, this take-away aperitif turns a simple walk into a shared moment in the heart of the Villars landscape. Each product has been carefully selected from local producers and artisans to guarantee freshness, quality and authentic craftsmanship.
- Charcuterie from Boucherie Erard (Chesières) A family business for over 40 years, renowned for the quality of its regional products and awarded several times, notably for its cabbage sausage and garlic-pepper dry sausage.
- Bread from Boulangerie Charlet (Barboleuse) An emblematic bakery run by the Charlet family for nearly 40 years in Gryon. An artisanal know-how passed on to the next generation, appreciated far beyond the region.
- Wine from the Caviste – Vignerons d’Ollon An iconic wine created 100 years ago, symbolising authenticity and tradition. Easily recognisable by its label illustrated by painter Frédéric Rouge, it has long accompanied moments of conviviality.
- Alpine cheese from the Chaux alpine pasture (Gryon) An alpine cheese produced in summer by the Delessert family on the heights of Gryon, offering an exceptional panorama.
- Hugo Reitzel pickles A company founded in 1909 in Aigle and a Swiss reference for pickled vegetables. To this day, Hugo Reitzel continues to highlight bold recipes using mainly Swiss ingredients.
The Rando’péro is for those who enjoy taking their time: walking, breathing, pausing to admire the view… and savouring the moment. Whether as a couple, with family or friends, it offers a simple and convivial way to discover the region differently, combining the pleasures of nature and fine food.No planning required, a ready-to-go backpack and the freedom to choose your spot: the Rando’péro is the art of enjoying a local aperitif outdoors, all year round.
