The Val de Tavers is characterised by the watch industry and extends from Lake Neuenburg across the Jura all the way to the French border. Biel has many facets: you will find modern buildings on the lakeshore alongside historic buildings in the old town higher up. The centre of the watchmaking industry with the Cité du Temps will inspire you just as much as the winegrowing villages and the Taubenloch Gorge towards the Jura.

St-Luc and Chandolin are situated on the sunny eastern slope of the Val d'Anniviers (Eifischtal) and enjoy a majestic panorama. Spectacular scenery, attractive walking country and the ultra-modern astronomical observatory will keep boredom at bay.
