Whether over the fire or in the modern Kessi – in the show dairy you can learn everything about the production of the world-famous Emmentaler AOP on 17,500 m2.
Whether traditionally over the fire or modern on the King's Road – in the show dairy you can experience how cheese is made.
In the Emmental show dairy, there is a lot to discover and experience in four former cheese dairies from different generations. On the Königsweg, the indoor experience for the whole family, you will learn more about the production and history of the Emmentaler AOP. Or lend a hand and make your own Stöckli cheese or cream cheese as a group.
In the cosy restaurant, regional specialities are freshly prepared. In the cheese shop, the original Emmentaler AOP is available in various degrees of maturity and around a hundred other cheeses and specialities from the Emmental. Various bread specialties can be found in the Meier show bakery in the old fire wagon dairy.
On the grounds of the Emmental show dairy you will find a large playground, a sunny self-service terrace and a small petting zoo.
